Chilled champagne is sipped, as the tradition of the cutting of the cake is observed, guests are then led into the beautifully decorated Wedding Breakfast Room, overlooking the famous River Tay.
Behind the scenes, Head Chef, Scott Scorer will be preparing the final touches to the food, he has carefully prepared for your sumptuous wedding breakfast, food at Ballathie is a celebration in itself, great passion along with the use of local fresh ingredients are part of the menu for the day.
Glasses are charged, toasts are made, laughter rings out along with a rousing few minutes of applause, and the blushing Bride and dashing Groom leave the wedding breakfast room to refresh and prepare for an evening of fun and dancing.
During our summer season, we exclusively reserve all 23 bedrooms in the main house for your wedding – which allows you to enjoy an evening party with music and dancing. Exclusive hire of the main house at Ballathie will give your special day the grandeur it deserves.
We will only ever accept one wedding on any given day, our belief is that you and your guests deserve our undivided attention throughout your special day.
Please note we are unable to accept weddings with evening entertainment between 1st August and 15th October each year.
